Los Llanetes

If we go up the road that leads us to Valsequillo from Telde, approximately 1 kilometer from the urban center of La Barrera, we encounter Los Llanetes, on the right margin of the San Miguel Ravine, which explains the antiquity of its settlement.
When the terrain is horizontally flat or sloped but with a minor gradient, then we are referring to flatlands, thus the name of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is one of the municipality’s main agricultural areas. To be highlighted is one of the oldest traditions that take place in this area, which is none other than cow fighting, event that is celebrated every year on the Día del Pino (Day of the Pine).
Los Llanetes counts with public infrastructures such as a children’s park, social club and sports facilities.
